If there is an issue with the game minimizing immediately, please edit the settings.ini and at "fullscreen=false".

This is unfortunately pretty old, so the binary may not execute.
You may be better off running the windows version through Proton or Wine.

Digiband has always been open source and freely modifiable and distributed. If you are interested in modifying or contributing this project you are welcome to do so on the Studio JAW git server, where this project now lives on.
